DataHabitat's Technical Description

DataHabitat is a complete, end-to-end Business Intelligence package that employs data warehouse technology. DataHabitat combines powerful ETL (extraction, transformation and loading); mappings of source data with a relational data model; dynamic on-screen queries; report designer; data integration; semantic layer for data definition, business rules, and application logic; embedded data repository for storing normalized data; and metadata repository. It comes out-of-the-box with the bundled application data tables pre-defined, mapped, and optimized. Dozens of reports, graphs, formulas, queries, and other necessary business tools are immediately available upon installation.
